Trip Planner Tips - Service Around a LocationWhen you've requested Routes that serve a location, you receive information about all routes with service there, regardless of day of the week or time of day. The results of your query look something like the following:
The stop closest to the location you entered is listed first. Click on the stop name for more information about a stop. Stop names look like Warner St & 38th St in this example. Note that two stops can be named alike, as in this example, and represent stops on opposite sides of the street. In other cases, identically-named stops are the same stop, listed once for each Transit agency that uses it. Routes are listed at the stops they serve. Routes are shown by Route Number, Transit agency, and Destination Sign. "Route PT 51 Union Ave" is an example. To see the complete timetable for a listed route, click on its route number. For a list of the Transit agencies, see Who's Who. Distance: is the walking distance and direction from the location you entered to the stop. Directions are E = East, N = North, S = South, and W = West. Click on the underlined Distance: information for more detailed walking instructions between the location and the stop. Use the Schedule function at the top of the page to get departure times for routes at these stops. You can also use the Schedule function to see what routes serve a location on a specific day and during a specific time span. |
