Trip Planner Tips - Schedule HelpWhen you've requested Schedule for a location, the information you receive is limited to the day you entered. The First Service and Last Service options give one time for each route. The Service in a time range option returns as many trip times as occur within the time range you specified. To change the day or time range, select the "Revise Original Entries" link to return to the entry page. The results of your query look something like the following:
If you used the Service in a time range option, that link at the top of the results page is inactive, as in the example. You can select either of the other two options to see the first or last service of the day. If you started with a First or Last Service query, choosing Service in Time Range uses the time range specified on the entry form. You can change the time range by returning to the entry form. You may have to enter the location and date again, as well. The stop closest to the location you entered is listed first. Click on the stop name for more information about a stop. Stop names look like Pacific Ave & 176th St in this example. Routes are listed at the stops they serve. Routes are shown by Route Number, Transit agency, and Destination Sign. "Route PT 1 6th Ave Pacific Ave - 1 Roy Y" is an example. Times for the route at that stop are listed below the route number. For the Service in a time range query, if no times are given, the route serves that stop, but not in the time range you specified. Click on the route number to find the complete timetable for a listed route. For a list of the Transit agencies, see Who's Who. Distance: is the walking distance and direction between the location you entered and the stop. Directions are E = East, N = North, S = South, and W = West. For detailed walking instructions click on the underlined Distance: information. |
